The national Anthem of Bangladesh: 'amar shonar bangla, ami tomai bhalobashi'.

 

It is very interesting that Rabindranath Tagore, an Indian poet wrote this anthem. There may be some doubts but its claimed that it was originally written by Lalon. Ami jani hoytoba Rabindra nath tagore er bhokto ra amar ei kotha gulo pore offended hote paren.. but no offnece..

It should be realized that National Anthem should be written by the citizen of that country. Pagla, you are missing the whole point. No one denied the independence war and the contribution of the the people of Bangladesh. I already mentioned that at that time the anthem we have been using was necessary . But time has passed, now its been 33 years and we are still using the same national anthem written by an Indian poet. nothing wrong with that ..but we should value our country..Things have changed, for example, we even changed the design of our National Flag.

At the very outset the flag had a different look. There was a golden colored map of Bangladesh at the center of the red circle. This was the original design of the flag of Bangladesh under which the valiant freedom fighters fought during the liberation war.
